Start selling your art
Digital crypto art is also called NFT's, read more about NFT here. NFT's can be photos, film, animation, text, audio or even code. And people buy it like they buy art for their home. Just for screens, print etc.
NFT's are bought and sold on different websites with different cryptocurrency, read more about crypto here.
In the next steps you will learn how to create a NFT (called minting) and what websites to sell it on and how to promote it on twitter. We will help share your work on our twitter profile when you have started.

Step 1
Create a twitter.com account, make sure to make it with a pseudonym or artist name if you want to stay anonymously. Follow @afghanft. We will follow you back and you can ask us questions in messages if you need technical help or advice. We will also help promote your art, just make sure to tag us every time...
Step 2
Creating a wallet.
A wallet is personal a digital bank account, that stores your money and art pieces. The wallet is also used for logging in to websites and to accept transaktions or decisions about your art or money.
Create a wallet
Click "sync" in the top right corner and select a website to create a wallet. In this example we use Kukai Wallet.
Create a new wallet
The signup process of Kukai is very important, make sure you follow all the steps and only do it on a computer you can trust. Also make sure to write down:
· Seed phrase
· Password
· Wallet adress
· Download the key file to a save place
Your are ready
Now you have a wallet with kukai and you can keep your money and art in a safe place. Dont share your login informations with anyone! In the top you can see your wallet adress starting with tz___________________ this is your address people can use to send you art and money. You also use this to identify yourself.
Step 3
Sell your first art piece
Objkt.com is one of many marketplaces for crypto art, we use this one as an example, see our help section for links to other platforms
Before you can start selling you must log in to objkt.com with your wallet. Click SYNC and go to your wallet and approve to sync with objkt.com then your synced and logged in to objkt.com
Now you can see your profile on objkt.com is connected to your wallet address.

When clicking "create" on objkt.com you are asked to create a collection, inside this collection you can put multiple art pieces for sale. Its a great idea to keep your collections theme based so a collection contains similar themes of art, for example paintings or landscapes, or even landscapes from a specific place or time you want to share. In this way collectors can easily see what kind of art you make, and be sure of the quality.

Upload your art editions
You decide how many people can buy your art piece, how many editions it is in. The normal is to sell around 1-25 editions of each piece, the less editions the more rare the art piece is, allowing also to raise the price. You can also sell some of your art in large editions, but people will pay less money per edition. Try making some pieces 1 edition and others 10-25 editions and experiment what works for you.

Choose selection (The one you just created)
Choose CC licence (Can people use your art?, if you dont care choose No license)
Listing your art for sale
When your art editions are minted, they still belong to you in your wallet, now its time to list them for sale at a given price. Its a good idea to keep some editions for yourself or friends. Beginners normally sell their art editions cheap and then let the price go higher the more interest and followers they get.
Type amount of editions
Set a price (1 tezos)
And click "LIST"
Step 4
Promote it on twitter
Now your art is for sale on objkt.com its time to tell the world about it, this is where @afghanft can help. Create a new tweet and make sure to tell a little about your art piece and add some tags for twitter, for example:

When we see your tag we will retweet your art and our followers can go buy it and support your art.
Step 5
Engage with other NFT artists to get friends and increase chance of selling your art!
You art will not sell from one day to another, expect a few month to start getting sales and dont be sad if you dont sell from day one, people just need to get to know you and find your twitter profile.
Its important to be active on twitter everyday. To promote your art and support and find new friends that like art like yours. Retweet other peoples art, says thank you to people who buy your art and take part in discussion that interest you. This way you build followers and sales.
